Table for Two

Many years ago I lived in the most beautiful little cottage on the same street as Disneyland in California. This is the home in which I raised my children and have some of my happiest memories. This home had a tiny front porch that I showered loved upon. On this porch, amidst the overflowing flora, was a small bistro set where I invited my most cherished friends to break bread with me.

It was here that I shared many long hours of conversation, dreams, heartaches and joys and it is that time in my life which inspires this section of this website.

Today, I invite you to have lunch with me on my porch and share our wisdom, love and encouragement for one another.

To Love a King

After an alien occupation and civil wars brought Vaturia to its knees, a new king is crowned. Antares is determined to restore his beloved homeworld and with his brother by his side, believes he can accomplish anything. However, Nikolai isn’t interested in restoring Vaturia, or even staying on the godforsaken planet another day. What he does want is to correct a dark moment in vaturian history where females, deemed compatible for mating, were kidnapped from other worlds and brought to Vaturia in the hopes they could save the otherwise dying race.

Nikolai barters a deal between Antares and Naveenah, a human woman; if at the end of one year, Antares can’t convince her to stay and mate with him, Nikolai will be allowed to free all the women and leave Vaturia forever. What he wasn't counting on was falling in love with Naveenah himself.

There is much at stake for all of them. Antares is determined to bring reformation to Vaturia. Nikolai wants to leave the desolate planet. They agree on only one thing. They both crave Naveenah. She survived kidnapping and the ensuing years of imprisonment on a hostile, alien planet. Can she now survive the two brothers who want to claim her?
To Love a King will be available this July exclusively from Siren Publishing.
