Monday: Master Class - As I've said countless times, I think every life has purpose. I try to
share mine in the hopes that something I've learned, something I've gone
through, may help you in some way to find answers or strength for your
own life. That's the idea behind Monday Master Class. A master class is a
class given to students of a particular discipline, and for the purposes here we'll call that discipline living the life we were created for, by an expert of that discipline... of which I am certainly not, but I do think I have things of value to
teach and it would be selfish of me to keep them to myself. So I bring you a focused (well as focused as I'm capable of) blog on something I've learned,
something I've experienced, something I've gone through or something
cool I've found that makes my life better

Thursday: In Search of a Soul Mate - I was born a romantic dreamer who grew up in awe of the idea of a soul mate. Every romantic movie or book I could get my hands on, I devoured... don't even get me started on The Thorn Birds! However, after my first true heartbreak at 20, I closed myself off to the idea of grand romantic love, and especially to the idea of soul mates. Here it is now twenty some years later, two more failed relationships behind me and I find myself wondering if perhaps I have been wrong all this time. I write from my heart, and I always write about soul mates. Then in my real life, I go along with the flow and speak of how sweet, yet unrealistic, of an idea it is. Well the time is now to discover once and for all, what I believe and what I want. Every Thursday I'll share my ideas, understandings, and experiences as I try and come to some sort of peace on this subject once and for all.

Table for Two
Many years ago I lived in the most beautiful little cottage on the same street as Disneyland in California. This is the home in which I raised my children and have some of my happiest memories. This home had a tiny front porch that I showered loved upon. On this porch, amidst the overflowing flora, was a small bistro set where I invited my most cherished friends to break bread with me.
It was here that I shared many long hours of conversation, dreams, heartaches and joys and it is that time in my life which inspires this section of this website.
Today, I invite you to have lunch with me on my porch and share our wisdom, love and encouragement for one another.
